What is home to you ?
1 process & 2 possible path
To initiate and support your research, spatial organizing, construction or renovation project for your (future) living space.
Starting with a space for listening, clarification and understanding of your own needs and sensibilities.
To explore mindfulness meditation on the specific theme of home and living through the places and spaces that surround us.
To support your search for a housing project.
A place to call home offers a creative and reflective support process based on mindfulness to accompany the act of inhabiting. It structures a framework of proposals, listening and sensitive engagement to initiate and guide your projects, from intention to material.
To co-write and co-construct an architecture that integrates all the living.
The ‘home’ as the main theme of work (regardless of the project) addressed in six related topics
– 9 weeks divided into 3 stages, spread over 11 call sessions –
A general structure & personalised proposals tailored to monitoring individuals, locations and projects

(self-build) construction and location search projects

Preface.archi is a research and practice space focusing on the architectural processes of living beings. Within this space, various services and tools are offered to facilitate the reconnection and reconstruction of our sensitive relationship with ourselves, others and our environment. As a workshop, great importance is attached to construction and learning through being, doing and exploring. Through art, meditation, architecture and/or their intersection, the support offered allows us to immerse ourselves in our own spaces of reference and sensitivity, while ensuring care, respect, listening, guidance and the construction that emerges from it. Particular attention is paid to supporting women and contributing to stories of female emancipation, the revaluation of care and sensitivity in our ways of living our lives consciously, poetically and humanely.
As an artist, architect and mindfulness meditation instructor, my career path has been woven together by a quest for perception and sensitive understanding of the world, of humanity, and of the construction of the self, both in its earthly geography and in its inner territories. After graduating in 2016 from the La Cambre-Horta Faculty of Architecture (ULB), I followed a path guided by an organic and intuitive process that allowed me to encounter a variety of experiences. From India to Portugal and now Belgium, I have been able to work on rich and varied projects for different organisations and structures in the architectural, associative, social, cultural and artistic fields. At the same time, my curiosity and my own personal journey have allowed me to
immerse myself in different spiritual, energetic, somatic and artistic practice.
Having obtained the ULB’s mindfulness instruction certificate in 2024, I am gradually integrating its teachings and lessons into all my practices. Today, I am continuing along this path and drawing on my experiences to nurture the care necessary for the (re)construction of our sensitive spaces and to guide the architectural processes of life through places and living space projects.
The architectural project, crystallised in the form of a personal space, a home, a refuge or any other living space, offers the opportunity to engage in a collaborative and dynamic process that is attentive to the needs of the people and the place that are co-authors of the project. Particular attention is paid to the project as a process with its own phases and timelines, in a dynamic of exchange that listens to the intelligence, questions and answers of each individual.
Any comprehensive architectural project incorporating a work process proposed by preface.archi can be carried out in collaboration with independent firms and architects.

The meditation practices offered in this programme are based on the curriculum of the
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme. The process is primarily based on a mindfulness approach, providing a framework and tools that encourage mindfulness (of oneself and one’s surroundings) and attentive, non-judgmental and compassionate listening.
Autonomy and responsibility go hand in hand with this commitment.
This process is not recommended for individuals who are dependent on substances, experiencing distress or psychological difficulties, or who do not have a secure living environment.
It requires a daily commitment of approximately 45 minutes at home and one hour per week through guided sessions.
To begin this process, please make an appointment so that we can meet and discuss your project beforehand. We look forward to hearing from you!
