Preface.archi
Preface.archi builds a field of practice of work to support living architecture processes. It´s a birth process of an integrative journey between art. meditation. architecture. It offers individual & collective process support to listen or ways of inhabiting to better approach our ways of shaping our living spaces through our living experience of spaces.

Artistic & architectural mindful practice
Art as an architectural process. The artistic work behaves as a research spatial practice exploration through a corpus of archives from picture, collages, writing and mindful drawing processes in between fields of exploration lead by instinct, intuition and subconscious world. The research practice work aims at placing specifically art as an architectural process exploring the subconscious through body, mind & space inter-connection foreseeing life and consciousness (re)birth.
Mindfulness meditation. Meditation practice is the core of work. A daily practice. Opening up & setting up a time & space to listen & be in our experience while shaping consciously our existence. A remembrance of where we are situated in, an observation of what is surrounding, a chosen gesture of inhabiting. Meeting a space from which creation and creativity can emerge.
Architecture as an integrative process. The architecture practice drives a processual journey integrating the different aspects of being where both seen-un(seen) – sutble & matter – inner process & outer form bridges, merges & responds to each other. For an intimate ecology & in-depth core. Architecture missions are driven by local-circular economy, natural materials & simplicity building techniques as fundations. Projects infused with sensitivty become human thouthful designed, highly creative process and poetic materials responses including all [living] forms into the field of the architecture.
All together, they build a field of work through presence in care of every fragments, in respect of each specificity, in support of living diversity and personal sensitivity.
Collaboration
Any comprehensive architectural project incorporating a work process proposed by preface.archi can be carried out in collaboration with independent firms and architects.

Personal journey
Fanny’s journey is rooted in a research by experience through experiment, perception and understanding of the world, humans and the construction of being both in outer geography and inner territories.
Since her graduation in the Faculty of architecture Lacambre-Horta in 2016, from Belgium through India and to Portugal, she worked through a wide range of organizations and professional practices connected to architecture and urban research into sustainable & social practice, community living and houses refurbishment. Alongside the axe of her academic background, she co-founded and organized from 2018 to 2022 an international dance festival in Brussels, supported the opening of an art gallery from 2020 to 2022 in her hometown while diving in her personal art practice research.
Meditation enters as a practice in 2019. First through scattered time through app support. In 2021 she is joining a mindfulness based stress reduction cycle program with Ozan Akzoyek through the belgian organisation “Emergences“. Little by little, discovering the gift of the practice, she is chosing to deepen it joining a 4 months in depth cycle on the 8 attitudes of mindfulness, silence retreat, workshops on emotional intelligence, feldenkrais practice to finally enroll into the universitary certification program (ULB) guided by Fabienne Bauwens & Sandrine Rauter. With the completion of the mindfulness certification, she is exploring the integration of it into all of the aspects of her both personal and professional life. She is a member of ABFM & in an ongoing continuing professional development.
Within preface.archi, her personal ground of practice founded in 2025, she is working in the continuation of this path and in the root of her experiences to integrate as whole those pieces, feeding the care of the reconstruction of our sensitive places and supporting as she called : the living architecture processes.
She privileges presence in experience, awareness into experiment over knowledge accumulation – chosing process listening over controled directed result to material responses. She embraces now the recognition of her intuitive & high perception sensitivity in service of places & people through all her work.
